 Find a subject that interests you. Look at it for entire minute. Write down or draw a picture of things that come to mind.  That will help you verify what is dominant about the subject, so you won’t become lost in details.
You can find inspiration in everywhere: in bark of tree, flowers, sand, peace of pottery, animals…

I saw a beautiful hand painted vase with drawing of flowering cherry tree. This image was the inspiration for my necklace.
